A scent good enough to taste

I'm sure you have experienced it too. A scent you just want to keep on inhaling. A fragrance you can taste. Well, this is how I feel with Orange-Vanilla by Trapp, but you wouldn't know what I'm talking about,  unless you have experienced it.

How about some Milk Chocolate Truffle  &  Almond Truffle?
Godiva has partnered with Laura Slatkin for a line of chocolate scented candles. They smell heavenly and make me want to eat the candle.

Sullivan & Company : Alison Lufkin

We have been working with interior designer AlisonLufkin for many years. She is very easy going and she has many happy clients. Here is some work she has done in San Francisco. Her style is clean, comfortable and relaxing.

Large antique Chinese leather trunk as a coffee table.

I love the old wood beams on the ceiling. Not too heavy but still give you a hint of relaxing country living, although this house is right in San Francisco.

Who doesn't like Toile? Chinese porcelain garden stool is great for extra seating or as a side table.

I love how Alison uses this 19th C. Chinese antique bench as a coffee table

Love the curtain pattern! Fabulous color combination.

19th C. Chinese long cabinet holds a lot of things inside.

Northern Chinese antique console table as a sideboard. It's not too deep, versatile. Great for any small space.

Antique Southern Chinese red & green lacquered sideboard goes so well with the Victorian balloon back chairs.

Southern Chinese kitchen cabinet as a sideboard. The lower shelf was used to dry dishes.

Chippendale chair + Ming console table + branch lamp = Fabulous!

We custom made the Ming style coffee table from reclaimed Elm wood. The room is so cozy, I just want to make some tea and enjoy the fire.

Something Blue On The Ceiling

I love to see something blue in any room, especially chandeliers. Usually they give you peaceful feeling. But there are also some WILD & BOLD ones out there.
How about this Bursting hand blow Murano glass chandelier?

A few blue glass rings can make such a strong statement! This Murano chandelier makes this room alive.

These pictures make me want to fly to UK to carry them home right now!
They are created by Roast Designs.

How about this 1880's Wedgwood Blue & White Jasperware chandelier?
Originally made for gas and now electrified. I can see this WILD chandelier in a super modern home. The strong contrast would make the room stunning.

This lamp was designed by Peter Nilsson for Bsweden. Kumulus is a chandelier what was made of handmade parts of crystal, polished chrome and white lacquered steel. Great job!

The Scent Of The Past: Lavender

Nothing can bring back a memory more vividly than than a scent.

Wonderful moments from my childhood in France and Vienna are being recalled with the scent of lavender of which I am so fond.

The new Seda France Lavender is divine!
